Seasons greetings everyone! The countdown to Christmas has started and to get you in the mood, our advent calendar this year will feature community organisations and businesses that do good things in Wellingborough, Rushden and Higham Ferrers – good things in our community, good things for people.

I have done this for the last couple of years with Wellingborough Eco Group to promote those who offer eco-friendly services and those who are making a difference in Wellingborough, and to build Wellingborough Eco Map, a guide of local eco-friendly services. This year I am switching it up a bit…

Working with our Wellingborough Organisations Community Forum, Co-op Local Causes and stores, this time we have decided to include Rushden and Higham Ferrers and the surrounding area. If you are a community organisation or business, particularly if you are having a Christmas event, send us your story and a logo and I will do my best to find a window for you!

The window will be linked to my blog with an article all about what you offer. You will also be put on Wellingborough Eco Map if you offer an environmentally friendly service and on the Wellingborough Organisations website too!
