Thank you for supporting The Waendel Walk!
Well done and thank you everyone who has walked or worked to make this year’s Waendal Walk the amazing event that it has been. We have welcomed 1000’s of people and we loved it. Well done Wellingborough Town Council for putting on this great event and to say thank you to you all, here’s a video of all my photos:
During the weekend I asked you to come and say hello to me and my bright orange Hoopoe bird called Waendel, and you did! Thank you for sharing your stories with me, for telling me where you came from and for saying what walks you were doing this weekend. If you want to know more, every picture has a story, which I shared on social media via:

There were lots of walks to join in with, including new on road routes, for you to explore Wellingborough and the glorious countryside and villages that surround our town. Thanks to the volunteers and staff everyone had very warm welcome and the weather was equally warm, have a look at the link below for more details about the Waendel Walk:

On this video there are over 180 of the photos that I took of everyone enjoying themselves and Wellingborough. They are almost in order to give a sense of how the weekend went. The video also has a great soundtrack fittingly called The Hoopoe Bird! It’s by The Oops Brothers who they kindly gave me permission to use their song, thanks chaps, enjoy the video!
