Come to our Community Fete 10am-4pm on Saturday 4th May at Co-op Grangeway in Rushden to Go BIG for Barnardo’s and have some family fun! We will have a tombola, games, local causes and hopefully a cake stall, plus loads more fun outside (and inside) the shop. Join our local causes who will tell you all about the work that they do, meet the Safer Communities Team plus some of your local emergency services, and perhaps most importantly, come and have some fun!
The money we raise will help support 750,000 young people with immediate needs from the cost of living impacts and future needs to improve life chances and social mobility. By the age of 15, 95% of children use social media, and on average 15-16 year-olds use it for almost 5 hours a day*. Young people use social media to search for information and advice but content can be unreliable and even unsafe.
The Co-op partnership with Barnardos raised over £1.5m last year! Our partnership is working with young people to use social media to produce safe, reliable and shareable online support that can be accessed by any community, on access to food, mental wellbeing and taking advantages of opportunities for the future. We’re also delivering in-depth support through services in communities that need it most.
Join us on Saturday 4th May and Go BIG for Barnardo’s at Co-op Grangeway’s Community Fete, see you there 10am-4pm!
