I had the pleasure of meeting Phil for a guided tour of our enormous warehouse on Park Farm. Here are some interesting facts:
- Co-op spent £25 million in 2018 and opened this site in 2019.
- They serve 365 Co-op stores.
- They cover an area from Felixstowe to Uppingham to Rugby to Abingdon to Watford.
- 120 rounds deliver to 3-4 stores every day.
- They employ 650 people, including 161 drivers.
- They recycle over 50 bales of cardboard everyday, each one weighs in at half a tonne!
