Really pleased to be able to support the final of the Eco Little Friends project by Kółko i Krzyżyk- polska grupa Wellingborough (Noughts and Crosses – Polish Community Group.)
The children were treated to a picnic at Sywell Country Park last Saturday and they were rewarded with medals and diplomas as a prize, and given Co-op bags full of sweets and treats, that were donated by Phil and the team at Co-op Olympic Way, as part of their Olympic way coop Charity and community initiative.
Congratulations Filip, Lena, Zuzia, Agatka, Janek Nela, Weronika, Wiktor, Hubert, Roxanna, Dominic, Ignas and all the other children who are receiving their medals, diplomas and treat bags this week during the group’s twice weekly sessions at ECO HUB.
For several months, the children have been collecting stickers for eco tasks in a project called Eco Little Friends organised by Celinka. It brought them a lot of joy, to clean the playground and park together and to take care of the planet.
They also took part in lots of activities with Wellingborough Eco Group and to support the SAVE OUR TREES – Wellingborough Walks Action Group, including painting posters and planting plants and trees.
