From tomorrow, Monday 27th February, it’s Fairtrade Fortnight and I thought that we could promo this via Glamis Hall’s Winter Warm Space at Wellingborough Eco Group’s ECO HUB with donations from the Co-op. Free Fairtrade Coffee, Tea and food samples, plus hot food cooked freshly every day!
With a cost of living and climate crisis, many of us are facing tough decisions. Some of us have moved to working from home following the pandemic and are facing a winter with increased energy bills. Others are facing even harder decisions about whether to heat or eat. Well the Winter Warm Space is there for warmth, food and drink, plus a chance to chat to other local people and play games!
Winter Warm Spaces are for anyone in need of warmth & community, they are a warm space to share with others. Join us on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursday 10-2, and on Fridays 10-2 for our Eco Club for Kids. There will be different food samples and hot food dishes every day so do come more than once.
Come and try Fairtrade on us, and then perhaps when you shop, look for the FAIRTRADE Mark. You may even find that you save money by choosing Fairtrade! It’s all about making the small switch to Fairtrade, we can all support producers in protecting the future of some of our most-loved food and the planet. The power is in your hands.
